Throughout the season, Glacier Valley Campground hosts a variety of fun themed events that the entire family will enjoy participating in. Geared towards family involvement, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and take part in on our Events Calendar!

April

Opening./ Easter Weekend

April 19th

Easter Bunny visit and egg hunt for kids. Everyone welcome at our first weekly Happy Hour.

Camping/Arbor Day

April 26th

Help plant trees around the campground. Explore trails on a guided nature walk. Paint rocks to take home or distribute around the campground.

May

Government Employee/Derby Day

May 3rd

$10 per night camping for government employees. Decorate hats, play a horse race game, kid's coloring contest, and mint juleps

Mother’s Day

May 10th

Celebrate Mom at our mimosa stroll.

Thank you veterans/Thank you Dodge County

May 17th

$10 camping/night for fellow military veterans. We also thank Dodge County residents for voting us the Best Campground in Dodge County by giving them 50% off camping for the weekend.

Memorial Day/Craft Fair

May 24th

Saturday Craft Fair. Booths are free for campers, $25 for others. Saturday bags tournament and music by Frank & Co. from Janesville. Beach music at the pond by DJ Jerry on Sunday.

Hillbilly

May 31st

Play hillbilly games that are sure to generate laughs.

June

10th Annual GV Music Fest

June 7th

Over 30 bands performing on three stages Fri eve through Saturday night. Vendor row and special T-shirts. The Day Pass fee for visitors allows them to pitch a tent for two nights.

Father’s Day

June 14th

Bags tournament. Taste several beers from a local brewery at Happy Hour.

80s/90s

June 21st

Remember those years? Dress the way you did back then (or the way you think they did!).

RescueFest

June 28th

Fundraiser for Wyocena Fire Dept. Weather and schedule permitting, see fire trucks, ambulance, helicopter, K9 unit. Huge silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

July

July 4th Celebration

July 5th

Bags tournament. DJ Jerry plays music at the pond. Decorate your cart, bike, or stroller for evening golf cart parade!

Tie Dye

July 12th

Bring your own item or purchase T-shirts and decorate as you like. Tie dye attire encouraged all weekend!

11th Annual Beach Party

July 19th

Play games on the beach while DJ Jerry spins platters on the pond stage.

Christmas in July

July 26th

Think how "naughty meets nice". Candy cane hunt for kids, decorating awards for campsites. Bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots and receive five 50/50 raffle tickets. Enjoy Party Marty performing at Happy Hour.

August

Wine "GV Uncorked"

August 2nd

Wine Tasting Happy Hour.

Country

August 9th

Brisket lunch. Petting zoo & pony rides. Cowboy games. Live Country music by Station 45 from Green Bay.

Scavenger Hunt

August 16th

Take pictures of various things around the campground that are on the list. Make frameable art by doing "pour painting".

Tailgate Party "Spirit Fest"

August 23rd

Show your spirit and support your favorite team. Enjoy Party Marty performing at Happy Hour.

Labor Day/Craft Fair

August 30th

Free Saturday craft fair booths for campers, $25 for others. Sunday bags tournament and music by DJ Jerry at the pond.

September

Celebrate Wisconsin/Glacier Valley 11th Anniversary

September 6th

Enjoy cheese tasting and Wisconsin trivia during Happy Hour.

Halloween in the Valley I

September 13th

Pumpkin painting. Kid and adult trick or treating. Decorating prizes.

Halloween in the Valley II

September 20th

Another Halloween weekend, with same activities as the week before. Dance with other ghouls to the tunes of DJ Jerry.

Cancer Survivors

September 27th

Free camping Fri & Sat for cancer survivors. Join other survivors and supporters as we honor their battle and raise funds for cancer research. Large silent auction.

October

Fall Cleanup

October 4th

Time to put away toys and get ready for the off season. Campground-wide rummage sale. Potluck supper.

Closing

October 11th

Donate your extra food for Fox Lake food pantry.

Lumberjack

October 18th

Join in as a large team splits and stacks wood for next season. Lunch and sweatshirt for all participants.
