Throughout the season, Glacier Valley Campground hosts a variety of fun themed events that the entire family will enjoy participating in. Geared towards family involvement, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and take part in on our Events Calendar!

April

Opening Weekend

April 18th

Welcome back! Join us at our first Happy Hour of the season!

Camping/Arbor Day

April 25th

Explore the trails, plant some flowers.

May

Government Employee/Derby Day

May 2nd

$10 per night camping for government employees. Decorate hats, play a horse race game, kid's coloring contest, and mint juleps.

Mother’s Day

May 9th

Take Mom along on a Mimosa stroll that touches on several sites around the campground.

Community Day/ Veterans Day Weekend

May 16th

We honor fellow military veterans by letting them camp for $10/night this weekend.

Memorial Day/Craft Fair

May 23rd

Enjoy the first of the summer extended weekends. Gather treasures of the season and beyond at our Sunday Craft Fair. Booths are free for campers, $25 for others. Show off your skills in a bags tournament. Enjoy beach music by the pond.

Hillbilly

May 30th

Play hillbilly games that are sure to generate laughs.

June

Neon Weekend/Music Weekend

June 6th

DJ's and live music throughout the weekend.

80s/90s

June 13th

Remember those years? Dress the way you did back then (or the way you think they did!).

Father’s Day / Flag Day

June 20th

Support Dad as he competes against other campers in a bags tournament. Adults have a chance to taste several beers from a local brewery at Happy Hour.

RescueFest

June 27th

Popular fundraiser for the Wyocena Fire Dept. Weather and schedule permitting, see fire trucks, an ambulance, helicopter, and a K9 unit. Huge silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

July

July 4th Celebration

July 4th

Bags tournament, craft and music. Decorate your cart, bike, or stroller and join in the golf cart parade!

Tie Dye

July 11th

Leave the mess here, not at home. Bring your own item or purchase T-shirts in the store and decorate as you like. Tie dye attire encouraged all weekend!

12th Annual Beach Party

July 18th

Have fun playing games on the beach while the music plays!

Candy cane hunt for the kids, decorating awards for campsites.

August

"GV Uncorked" - Wine Weekend

August 1st

Taste several wines at our Wine Tasting Happy Hour while having fun with wine trivia.

Country Weekend

Take part in 70 acres of live scavenger hunt!

Labor Day & Craft Fair

September 5th

Have fun on the unofficial end of summer. Free Sunday craft fair booths for campers, $25 for others. Music during the day while participating in a bags tournament.

Celebrate Wisconsin

September 12th

This state is great! Enjoy cheese tasting and Wisconsin trivia during Happy Hour.

Halloween in the Valley

September 19th

Break out your decorations early and set them up here. Take home pumpkins that you paint here. Enjoy kid and adult trick or treating. Decorating prizes.

Halloween in the Valley II

September 26th

Another Halloween weekend, with the same activities as the week before. Dance with other ghouls to the tunes of DJ Sat evening.

October

Cancer Survivors

October 3rd

On this special weekend we offer free camping Fri & Sat for cancer survivors. Join other survivors and supporters as we honor their battle and raise funds for cancer research.

Fall Cleanup

October 10th

Time to put away the toys and get ready for the off season. Potluck supper Saturday afternoon.

Closing

October 17th

Donate your extra food for Fox Lake food pantry.
